What tools do I need to use when i have to cut metal?
You can begin to cut metal once you have accurately marked out where you wish to cut. Although many people do not using manual saws and mostly resort to the handsaw fretsaw or circular saw, it is important to cut metal by hand in order to avoid destroy electronic machinery such as the saw blades by cutting with metal. You can either use a junior hacksaw or regular hacksaw but this is dependent on the amount of material needing to be cut, its depth, shape and size and the abilities of its user. The saw I would use would be a hacksaw when cutting metal.
Hacksaw
The hacksaw is used to cut steel and other metals. It is a fine tooth blade held tightly between a metal frame. Blades can be easily changed. The hacksaw is easier to use if the material being cut is held in a vice.

Steps of cutting process
- Ensure that your material is tightly held within the vice and as close to it as possible to avoid it moving and making unnecessary noise.
- Make sure that the marked out area is facing up for accuracy
- Pick the opposite end of the marked line and bring your hacksaw back a few times in order to start cutting the material
- When you have been able to accurately start cutting in the correct place, use long, slow strokes using the whole blade to cut through your piece of material
